All Star Community Participants
The All-Stars After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program is a state funded after school education and enrichment program designed to provide school age children with a safe environment after the regular school day ends. The elements of the program day are grounded in Community, Academics, Recreation, and Enrichment activities. Homework assistance is provided during homework tutorial periods. The program includes an educational and literary component in core standards as well as enrichment activities in the arts, physical fitness, computers, health, science, mathematics and language. All programs take place on school campuses and are easily accessible to community members. Healthy snacks are provided, and meet nutritional standards as established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The program operates every regular school day from the end of school until 6:00 p.m.
